RSS Feed Help
What is RSS?
Really Simple Syndication allows you to see updates to your favourite websites as and when they happen. You can use a tool called a 'Feed Reader' or an 'Aggregator' to view the content of these updates without having to visit the website itself.
How Do I Use RSS?
In order to use RSS, you must use an Aggregator. The Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 browsers have RSS Aggregators built-in, so you can subscribe to and view basic feeds without downloading a third-party application or leaving your browser. Alternatively, you can download a third-party Aggregator program such as FeedDemon. Finally, you can use a web-based aggregator service like Google Reader to manage and view your subscriptions.
To subscribe to a feed, just click on the RSS Feed text link or the orange RSS icon wherever you see it:
, or drag the icon into your aggregator program.
